Happy 4th of July - Independence Day in the U.S.A 2015

Some think war is what makes us a free country. We are not a warring country that goes out to conquer for lands and riches; however, we will defend our right to remain free citizens and will do whatever it takes to protect those rights. Our nation was founded as a Christian nation with open arms for all religions that embody the rights of all people to live in peace and harmony. In God We Trust…..from the very beginning.

Our Good Manners and our Respect for life, liberty, and the rule of law is what allows all of us to remain free independent citizens. It is the Good Manners of civilized citizens that allow all people to get along even if we don’t particularly like each other. We all have the same rights to be free, independent people and to be treated with respect by fellow citizens.

Our Constitution is the law of the land and makes us the greatest nation on Earth. Beware of Government Officials who chose to only enforce the parts of the Constitution that they like and disregard the parts they don’t like. They have taken an oath to protect our Constitution. When they do not keep their word, they are not good leaders and set bad examples for our children. Your word matters and Good Character matters.

The right to own property is what allows each individual to excel according to his ability and desire to work. Without the ability to buy and sell property and services (capitalism), people have no way to earn income or provide for themselves or their families; they would then become dependent on the Government…socialism. Free people like to make their own decisions and reap the rewards (good or bad) that come with those decisions. Don’t be so willing to give up your freedoms in exchange for free gifts from the government. Have you heard about the frog that started out in a pot of cold water? (They gradually turned the heat up until it became boiling water and then it was too late.) Vote for Government policies that will help you become independent and self-sufficient.

Our Constitution gives us the right to protect our own life, family and property. Beware of those who want to take our guns away from us. In addition to the greatest police departments and military on the planet, we also have armed citizens to back them up. We are free, independent citizens because our government is elected by We The People and we can also remove them from office. We are free citizens because we are willing to take responsibility for our own lives. We can survive without government officials but the government cannot survive without us. When We The People become dependent on the Government and have no say in who the government officials are, we will no longer be free and independent citizens.

The people who can testify to this are immigrants from oppressive governments and the people who are currently dependent on our own government. It is not a good life when you have no control over what happens to you and you are at the mercy of the Government.

Teach your children that the 4th of July means more than parades, hot dogs and fireworks. Teach them respect and to have gratitude for those who have given their lives in the past and for those who are serving today so that we may remain free and independent citizens. Teach them respect for life…their own and their fellow citizens. Teach them to respect the flag of the United States which represents freedom from oppression by corrupt government and the right to be a free, independent self-sufficient citizen. Do not fail your children by not teaching then the rules of civilized behavior and respect for life. Teach them that good citizens come in all sizes, shapes, colors, all ages, health, wealth, education, religious or political affiliations. United We Stand – Divided We Fall

Happy July 4th - Independence Day!!!

Happy July 4th to everyone. -- Be Happy, Be Safe, Be Kind.

We celebrate this holiday every year as a reminder of our independence and freedom from government.... not our dependence on government.

Since 1776, our Christian nation has been a beacon to the world. Our Declaration of Independence guarantees each of us:

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.- That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form..... continues on The National Archives website: http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/declaration_transcript.html

Freedom is not free. We remember in prayer those who gave their lives to keep our nation free and those who are serving now. Thank you.

Our system works because it is based on our citizens being independent, honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens with the right to own property. When our laws are no longer honored or followed, when our Constitution is no longer followed to the letter, when our citizens no longer value honor, respect and freedom for all, there will be no place else in the world to run to where everyone is considered free from government dictates or dictator rule.

We are guaranteed the right to the "pursuit" of happiness...not just "happiness." We must participate and contribute to our own well being and to our free society .....not just be takers.

We are all immigrants somewhere along the line. Be very careful of what freedoms you are willing to give up or to destroy as it will be very hard to get them back. We need honorable leaders that make all of our citizens feel united.

We are not a perfect nation, but we are striving to become better each year. Our bad laws have been and can be changed. People of honor will do the right thing regardless of the law.

Happy L.A.C. Day - April 15 - Law Abiding Citizen Day!!!

Today is a day to celebrate our American heritage and our common bonds. Honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens are the backbone of the Greatest Nation on earth. Actually, everyday is LAC Day for us. Thank you for being an honorable, civilized law abiding citizen just because it is the right thing to do.<\p>

It doesn't cost any money to celebrate this day, just time and consideration for others. Laws cannot dictate civilized behavior. It is a choice we voluntarily make. It is honorable, civilized behavior that will change the world.<\p>

Happy New Year 2013!

Wishing you and yours a very Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous New Year 2013!

Most of us start the new year with good intentions and new year's resolutions. Mine is to start a Gratitude Jar and each time something nice happens, I will make a note of it and put it in the jar. On New Year's Eve, I will empty the jar and review all the wonderful things that happened this year.

My mission is to have everyone discover how empowering respect and good manners are. That is one of the reasons Margery Sinclair and I published "A Year of Good Manners." All the 365 tips were written by Margery, an international etiquette consultant and author. One of the most helpful tips is "Keep Your Word to your children." If you say no, mean it. If you say yes, mean it. Keep your word. Your children depend on you to set boundaries and teach them how to get along in the world and be an honorable, civilized, law abiding person.

Merry Christmas everyone! Happy Holidays to those who do not celebrate Christmas. A lot of churches have wonderful Christmas Pagents so we do not forget the reason for this wonderful season: Jesus Christ was born to be our Lord and Savior.

This time is also a time to gather families together from far and wide to enjoy each others company and make new memories. It is also a good time to mention all the happy memories of our family members who are no longer with us.
