July 4th is a reminder each year that we fought to be free, independent people capable of being personally responsible for our own actions and electing our government officials from among ourselves.....not people that sit helplessly by dependant on the government do everything for us. Our Declaration of Independence was written to free us from the oppressive government of Great Britain in 1776.
Thank you to all the Veterans who have fought for us each year since the Declaration of Independence.
The Declaration of Independence is a document that We The People of the United
States of America honor and respect as our guidelines on how all citizens are to be recognized as free people guaranteed equal opportunities to succeed. We expect our citizens to be honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens. The one thing each of us is in control of is our “Sacred Honor.”
The Declaration of Independence is nothing more than a piece of paper if the citizens of the United States are not honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens who respect the laws of the land
Today is a good time to reread the Declaration of Independence and notice the similarities between the oppressive British Crown and the oppressiveness of bigger and bigger government. When government is not working for the good of all its people, it becomes oppressive. When government officials pit one group of citizens (poor) against another group of citizens (wealthy) it becomes divisive.
The United States of America became the greatest nation on earth when we all believed the motto: United We Stand – Divided We Fall

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776.
The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,
When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.
He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.
He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.
He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.

For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world:

For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.
Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our Brittish brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. June 14 - Flag Day!
I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America
and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
I also pledge to be an honorable, civilized, law abiding citizen.
Our flag is a symbol of freedom for all....not just one party.....
not just one class.......not just one religion......not for just the
wealthy......it represents freedom and justice for all our citizens.
Our nation is only as strong as our people; not just our government.
We are a nation of honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens who strive
to be the best we can. We expect to be rewarded for honest labor and
not have the government take it away from us just because they think
they can spend it better than we can. We depend on every person having
the same opportunities to decide how hard they will work and to be able
to work at whatever is of our choosing. We depend on the majority of
our people to be honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens. We respect
the laws of the land which enables us to respectfully live together
as communities of large groups of people and to feel safe to freely move
about in our communities.
When we no longer respect or obey our laws, we will no longer be a
civilized nation of free people.
We tend to root for the underdog but we want everyone to succeed.
We want leaders who unite us as a country. Beware of those who
pit one class against another. It doesn't matter which group you
tear down.....it is not beneficial for our country. We must find
leaders who know how to unite us on common ground that is beneficial
to all. We want a government that can unite us as independent, free,
honorable people capable of being responsible for our own actions
.....not a government to take care of us as dependent, incapable people.
After all, we do freely elect our government officials from among ourselves.
Freedom is not free. We must be vigilant. If we ignore our freedoms
and take them for granted, we could easily lose them. Too many people
are willing to give up too many freedoms in order to let the government
take care of them. When you are dependent, you are not free.

Egypt is Free!! Mubarak steps down.
Egypt is Free!!! Celebrations begin.
After 18 days of peaceful demonstrations by Egyptian
citizens of all ages, education levels, and socioeconomic levels,
Egypt is free. On Friday, February 11, 2011
President Hosni Mubarak steps down as President
since 1981.
Honorable civilized people of all countries want to be
treated with respect. It is our common bond as
human beings. Honorable people must stick together.
Freedom is not free. These people were willing to put
their life on the line, and some did lose their lives,
in order for all Egyptian people to be free of tyranny.
Our prayers are with the Egyptian people and all
honorable, civilized, law abiding citizens.
Makes you wonder why beautiful, healthy, young
Americans will “party and do drugs” until they can
no longer remember what they did the night before
…..and they call that fun. It is disrespectful and
disgraceful to themselves, their friends, and especially to
their families not to mention disgraceful and detrimental
to our Country. Lack of respect for the rule of law is the
reason we have a multi-billion dollar drug problem in the USA.
Freedom means freedom from tyranny, the opportunity
to work for honest wages, and the opportunity to be
the best person you can be….. and not at the expense
of someone else.
Egypt is free from tyranny but now the work
begins to rebuild their country.
Money is not always the solution to all
problems. Honorable, civilized citizens
are the answer along with unity, honor,
civility and respect for all.
No matter what country we live in, we each

Arizona Congresswoman and Staff Members Shot on 1/8/11
On Saturday, January 8, 2011,
US Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and some of
her staff were shot while on duty at a public mall.
Some private citizens were shot as well. At least 10
people have been injured or killed. A 22 year old male
gunman was captured at the scene and remains in jail.
Our prayers are with those who have been injured or killed.
As civilized people, there can be no greater horror than
to be unsafe in our own country. There is never, ever,
a good enough reason to harm another person, verbally
or physically, just because you do not like someone’s
looks, policies, or whatever.
We enjoy the freedom to walk about freely in society; to
meet as large groups in public places; we
enjoy the freedom to feel safe in our own homes;
we enjoy freedom to eat out at safe restaurants and to
purchase safe food and safe drink at local stores and clubs.
We enjoy purchasing safe products that work as advertised.
We enjoy these freedoms because we can trust each
other. We enjoy these freedoms because the majority
of our people are honorable, hard working, civilized law
abiding citizens. These are the core values of our
society and the values that will keep us free.
How do we protect ourselves against terrorists and
crazy loons? The answer is to willingly hold ourselves
to a higher standard by adhering to our core values.
Honorable, hard working, civilized, law abiding people do not
lie, cheat or steal even when the opportunity
presents itself. We do not harm others unless in self-
defense. We are the eyes, ears, and brains of
American civilized society. We elect our government
officials from among ourselves. Each of us is expected to
be a standard bearer for our country and stand united
in the principles of respect, freedom and safety for all.
Each of us is expected to be vigilant and be aware when
something or someone is not right. We must be eye witnesses
and speak up before tragedy happens.
We are always there even when the government is
not. This tragic event could have been even more
horrendous if it were not for the brave, honorable,
civilized law abiding citizens who took charge during
this event and held the shooter to the ground until
the Police could get there. We The People are
who will keep our country the leader of the free
world.
Where ever you go, you should always find at
least one honorable, civilized, law abiding citizen
(you). We must willingly abide by our core
values and we must teach them to our children
so they too can stand united with us for the
freedom of all.
